Kung Fu Panda 3
REVIEW BY AMATULLAH POONAWALA
The story is like, there is a spirit named Kai and he wants to take the CHI from every master of China and wants to become the King of the world and destroy everything that Master Uguay had made. So Po, the Dragon Warrior has to learn the power of Chi and stop him.
I like a lot of things in the film. Such as
- The music of the film,
- The Chitty Chitty Chat Chat part,
- When Po and his father play with everything in the Jade Palace and
- When both the fathers made Master Rhino’s armour.
Kung Fu Panda 3 is a fun film, enjoyed by children and adults.
REVIEW BY THE Y FACTOR
Like brother, like sister. Ice Age 3 was Hamza’s first review, so Amatullah takes on the Panda trilogy in her first attempt.
This is like any other franchisee, wherein the fans will throng the theatres irrespective of content. But unlike the superhero flick of last week, the content here is much better. The story arc has the same single antagonist trying to take on China which leads to Po discovering his true self in order to defeat him. Be it him being the Dragon Warrior, Inner Peace in the sequel or the power of Chi in this one.
The animation is brilliant as always and snazzier. Mixed with the emotional tug of war between his 2 fathers, Ping the Goose (James Hong) & Li Shang the Panda (Bryan Cranston), the film scores well with the new characters such as Kate Hudson and J.K Simmons.
A must watch for every Panda fan, and for the child in you.
